Specific Rush Limited, trading as Specific, collects information in compliance with General Data Protection Regulation. This privacy policy sets out how our organisation uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website, or enquire about our services.

What data do we collect?
Our company collects the following data:

  • Personal identifiable information including name, email address and phone number.

  • Further personal information, including relevant health information, home address, next of kin details, payment details and any other information needed to provide membership services, if you become a member of Specific. This information is collected in person by a qualified coach, and not via initial website enquiries.
     

How do we collect your data?
You directly provide Specific with most of the data we collect. We collect and process this data when:

  • You register online, by completing a form, for further information about our Trial or general services.

  • You purchase goods directly from our website shop.

  • You enquire about services directly via email.

  • Use or view our website via your browsers cookies.
     

How will we use your data?
Specific will use your data for the following purposes:

  • To contact you directly by phone, SMS or email, about your enquiry and provide further information about our services.

  • To manage, process and deliver any order for goods placed through the website.

  • Email you with offers, reminders or further information about our goods and services periodically.

  • To manage your membership and member account should you become a member at Specific, following your enquiry. This will include providing information about all aspects, benefits and responsibilities relating to your membership, including payment terms, for the delivery of coaching services.

  • To deliver quality coaching in line with our product offering, based on tailored individual health, injury or experience needs.
     

We will not share your personal information for third party contact. However, we manage our membership services through a third party CMS provider. They do not have permission to contact you directly, nor to view or use your personal information. They are a data processor.
 

How do we store your data?
Specific securely stores your data in a number of locations:

  • In password protected excel files.

  • In our third party CMS system, password protected and GDPR compliant.
     

Specific will keep your name, phone number and email address for a period of one year, after which time the data will be deleted from all CMS or excel files.
 

Should you become a member of specific, we will retain your name, email, phone number, address, next of kin, payment details and relevant health information for as long as you are availing of the membership service and for a period of one year thereafter the discontinuation of your membership.  After one year of your membership ending, your data will be deleted from all systems.
 

What marketing materials will you receive?

Members will receive routine communications via email or text message as part of their membership. This information will include

  • Details relating to your membership, payments, credits, terminations, closures etc

  • Updates and information on activities taking place within the gym or in gym-related settings that may be of interest to you.

  • Information from the gym that may be of interest to you, such as fundraisers, added value activities, etc.

Non-members, who have provided their details through a website enquiry or other means, and whom have given permission, will be contacted periodically with offers relating to the gym and the services enquired about.

What are your rights under GDPR?

Specific would like to make you aware of all of your rights under the General Data Protection Regulations. Your rights are as follows:

  • Right to access: you have the right to request access to copies of your personal information that we store. We may charge you a small fee for this, subject to the scale of the ask.

  • Right to rectification: you have the right to request that we rectify any information you feel may be incorrect.

  • Right to erasure: you have the right to request that we delete your information.

  • Right to restrict processing: you have the right to request that we restrict or limit the processing of your information.

  • Right to object to processing: you have the right to object to us processing information.

  • Right to data portability: you have the right to request that we transfer the data we have collected to another organisation or to you.
