Membership Terms and Conditions at Specific Rush
SPECIFIC SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING
MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Specific SGPT product and service outline:

Small Group Personal Training sessions delivered in dedicated timeslots in Specific gym premises, Rush, Co Dublin.

Expertly qualified coaches practising best-in-class programming and health and fitness.

All SGPT sessions are conducted at a 6-1 client to coach ratio.

Adapted and revised gym program(s) designed to take ability and goals into consideration.
-
Digital booking platform accessible via desktop or mobile. Class bookings will open on a rolling 7-day basis with a range of morning and evening times to suit a variety of lifestyles and circumstances.

Body analysis and benchmarking progress using monthly InBody270 scans.
-
Delivery of high intensity (HIIT) cardio large group classes called ‘Sweats’ three days a week.
-
Goal setting environment providing support and guidance.
-
Additional community based activities including run, hiking and activity clubs.
Membership:
Specific memberships entitle you to a variety of sessions and credits depending on your chosen package:

Up to 3 additional large group high intensity cardio classes per week.

Access to digitalised service in the event of gym access being restricted by government (see 3.1).

Coach check-ins and monthly body/goal progress measuring through testing and InBody scanning.

Community activities, clubs and non-gym based additional days out.
8SGPT includes:

2x SGPT classes per week delivered in your one chosen facility.

Tailored expert programming.

Up to 3 additional large group high intensity cardio classes per week.

Coach check-ins and monthly body/goal progress measuring through testing and InBody scanning.

Membership Terms:
Memberships are on a once off payment for trial (28 days) or a rolling 28 day contract for follow on memberships, with a set number of credits depending on how often you wish to train in any given month. Trial memberships do not auto renew, to continue to a full membership you must purchase your chosen package through your FitnessHub.
Rolling memberships are paid on a 28-day cycle. The auto-renew every 28 days. To prevent auto-renew or to cancel your membership you must contact Specific 7 days before the end of your current 28 day cycle.
You are entitled to attend your selected number of SGPT sessions (4,8 or 12) per month and up to 3x large group cardio sessions per week which are complimentary on any SGPT membership. Once you book a session a credit will automatically be deducted from your 28-day credit allowance.
You are not obligated to use a set number of credits in a given week, however, any unused credits at the end of 28-days will be lost.
All membership rates can be found in our store and are subject to change.
Freezing & Termination:
Circumstances can change and we understand that people have lives away from the gym. To recognise this we offer all members ONE annual freeze of their membership for a total duration of 2 weeks. This freeze can be used for any reason, including holidays.
In the case of an emergency or a change in circumstances that would restrict your attendance at the gym longer term, please speak to a member of the coaching staff to discuss your specific situation.
You are entitled to terminate any membership of Specific SGPT by giving the required period of notice, 7 working days, in writing to Specific.
All memberships can be reinstated at any stage by contacting Specific directly at coach@specific.ie

No shows, session cancellations and booking windows:

Sessions can be booked between 7 days and 15 mins in advance of their start time.

Sessions can be cancelled without any penalty up to one hour before their start time.

Sessions cancelled within one hour of their start time will incur a penalty of one session credit.

If you have not cancelled and fail to show to the session, a €10 penalty will be charged. We know life happens; so you will receive one “strike”. The €10 will only be applied on the second “no show” and thereafter.
Gym Usage Conditions:

Specific facilities are inclusive communities, and you are expected to be respectful of all members, coaches, and staff. Any anti-social, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour will result in automatic cancellation of your membership. We reserve the right to refuse membership to anyone.

All members are responsible for assisting the gym in maintaining high standards of hygiene and we ask that you make every effort to wipe down your equipment after use.

You are required to bring your own water and gym towel to every session.

You should make the coach aware of any issues/injuries/concerns you have at the start of every session. You are responsible for your own actions within the gym, and while every effort is made to ensure you are supported and free of injury, Specific takes no responsibility for any injury or issue that occurs on the premises.

You must always listen to the limits of your body and respect your own ability. If a coach has assigned an exercise you are not comfortable with or are struggling to complete you must inform the coach and they will amend to suit you. Coaches are not responsible for any injury you may sustain as a result of over-exercise or training beyond your ability.
COVID-19:
Specific are not responsible should any member contract COVID-19 as a result of their use of Specific facilities, interactions with Specific staff or other members. Please see COVID-19 waver for further details.
General Health & Medical Exceptions
On commencement of a membership with Specific you must complete a general medical questionnaire. Should your health circumstances change during your time at Specific you must make a coach or member of staff aware and request to change your medical details on record to reflect any change that may impact you during your engagement with Specific.
If you should need to cancel your membership on medical or pregnancy grounds at any stage, please speak to a staff member and they will be happy to assist accordingly.
By purchasing a membership, whether trial or otherwise, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as set out in this document.

T&Cs are subject to change at the discretion of Specific. Any changes to the T&Cs will be provided in writing to members and updated online at specific.ie
